So I am a mother, wife, teacher and business owner and this week was a lot. I am a full time teacher at a local primary school. Anyone teaching at the moment will know that marks are due, comments are due and prep for Term 4 is due NOW. So the juggle is real.
But there have been such wonderful moments this week. Moments that we couldn’t have during COVID. My own children just recently attended camps for a night and they had such fun! I love that people are going out, socialising and the children get to do what they should be allowed to do.
We live in a suburb that has a sense of community and annually they host a trick or treat walk around. In reality it is just home owners giving them sweets but they love the idea of dressing up and meeting friends. We are looking forward to sharing it with them. We will be marketing the Halloween range for October soon and the idea of decorating your classroom or even just one bulletin board according to the theme is such fun!
We attended my younger son's school picnic yesterday and their nursery school classrooms were already decorated for Heritage day and it looked so festive! I can't wait to start using my African themed stickers for the children in my class and set up for the event.
